New Album in the Works
Groundation's Marcus Urani, and Harrison Stafford are currently
in Washington DC working with Jim Fox on a side project
album to be released sometime in Spring of '08.
The project features Jamaican legend and cult movie, "Rockers,"
star Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace (drums,) Jazz
great and 2008 Grammy nominated Will Bernard (lead guitar,)
and Groundation's own Harrison Stafford (vocals and rhythm
guitar,) Ryan Newman (bass,) and Marcus Urani (keyboards.)
The music is very different from Groundation and covers
many diverse styles within Reggae. We are all very excited
for this release and word from the studio is Fox has the
music sounding bigger than ever! More news to come...

Will Bernard Grammy Nomination
Congratulations to Will Bernard, Jazz guitar legend,
on his grammy nomination for his album "Party Hats."
Groundation's Ryan Newman (bass) and Paul Spina (drums)
play on several tracks on this album as well.
For 2 weeks we will be performing throughout our home State of California honoring the late Bob Marley in his birth month of February. For these shows Groundation will be playing Bob Marley's music and once again we will assemble a list of Marley classics spanning his entire musical career from 1961-1981. We are very exited about the opportunity to dive deep into the Wailers music as there is always something more to learn from the masters. Check the Live page for dates.
