Welcome to the online home of the international music group Groundation. We have done a lot of renovations to the site adding new options and features to make your visit more enjoyable.

All of the past archival news can be found on the News page while the most current information will be up on the Home page. The new Education section features information from individual members of Groundation on specific topics of interest both Reggae and non-Reggae alike. Diesel Diaries the behind the scenes look at the tours from Trumpet man David "Diesel" Chachere can be found via a linked icon on the Home and Live pages. The new Live page has a clean easy to read chart of all upcoming confirmed concert appearances. Keep close tabs on the Multimedia page for new insight into the group and their works. Any suggestions or comments on the new site can be emailed to: manager@groundation.com

The hope is to create a unique experience and better link all those in the Groundation community. Thanks for stopping by!

Thank You David Alima!
Our good friend and long time co-worker, David Alima (YoungTree Dave online), will be moving on from the works here with Groundation. We knew this was on the horizon and it was only a matter of time. He will be heading to South East Asia with his fiance Laura for two months and then returning to their native East Coast city of Baltimore.

It has been a great ride here in California, with David taking on the lead role for both Young Tree Records and Groundation Music. He is a life long friend to the group and our mission of positive change.

David we wish you all the best, long life and happiness.
Thank you,
Harrison

The New Side Project: ROCKAMOVYA
Three founding members of Groundation join forces with a legendary
Jamaican drummer and a grammy nominated Jazz guitarist to form
ROCKAMOVYA. The name comes from Leroy Horsemouth Wallace, Jamaican
patios style and is meant to show the unity and power of the music.
The sound is fresh and very different from the Groundation works, but
it remains deeply rooted in Reggae and Jamaican popular music. The
release has been scheduled for June 2008. More information to come...

Spring Time!
Groundation began their 5-week European tour. The first stop was the beautiful Reunion Island a few hundred miles off the coast of Madagascar in Southern Africa’s Indian Ocean. Then they will then go on to France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Greece, and the UK. We wish them safe travels and good vibes every step of the way.

Checking out the Live page and you will see that the rumors are true. Groundation is heading for their first coast-to-coast tour of the United States. Please check the dates as they come and rally all your friends and family to come out and support Groundation. This tour is the first proving ground for promoters and critics out on the Eastern shores and we want to show them just how strong the fan base it here in the States. Most of these venues are smaller than usual and there is a possibility in some case to move to a larger venue if advance ticket sales go well. PLEASE BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE because even if the show is not moved to a bigger venue the smaller ones will most likely sell-out.
