New Zealand & Australia Dates Added!
We are very excited to announce our first ever dates in New Zealand and Australia, scheduled for this November. Besides the obvious desire to tour in such a beautiful part of the world, to audiences famously addicted to Reggae, this tour holds special significance as it is a return to the homeland of drummer Te Kanawa Haereiti.

Puerto Rico/East Coast
A big thanks to the thousands that came out in San Juan, Puerto Rico last night and especially to the SOJA crew who came out for the "Exodus" encore.
Now begins the three night NE run, with two riverboat shows in Boston and New York and a second night in NYC at Sullivan Hall. Afterwards, the tour continues down to Florida, then on to Dominican Republic.

Groundation Family Expands
We would like to formally welcome to the Groundation family Kim Pommell's twin daughter and son, who were born recently. Undoubtedly, these two will grow up in the music and community of Groundation, with an amazing mother and a dedicated team of aunts and uncles.

Second Night in New York
Due to popular demand, a second night has been added in New York. Travelers from as far away as Montreal, Vermont and Illinois are coming in for these shows and we look forward to being back in New York with friends and family.

Tampa Show Added
Another Florida date has been added; it will be August 31 at Skipper's in Tampa Bay. Tickets are now on sale for all Florida dates, including the Blackwater Music Festival.

RIP Sugar Minott
Another legend has moved on from this plane to the next. Dancehall pioneer Sugar Minott passed away on July 10. The whole Groundation community wishes to express our sincerest condolences to the Minott family.

Summer Break
The first half of the Groundation 2010 Summer World Tour, featuring stops in France, Greece, Portugal, Spain and Holland has come to a close. Early August sees part two and a week of shows across France.
These few weeks of time off is being dedicated to completion of Dub Wars Vol. II and work on the next full length studio album. Looking forward...

Munich Show Added
The August 14 concert Germany will be held at Muffatwerk in Munich. This will most likely be the only Groundation concert in Germany this summer. As such, there are already confirmed travelers from across the country making the trek for the show.

Greece Venue Announced
The venue for our upcoming July 1st show in Thessaloniki, Greece has been announced, as well as a very special guest. Longtime Groundation collaborater Don Carlos will join us on stage at Mylos Babylonia for Rastavibe's 1st Annual Reggae Fest.

FUZION 2010 Tour Finale
This Thursday night will be the FUZION 2010 Tour finale at The Roxy in Los Angeles. This tour, featuring our good friends Orgone, has been one of true musical innovation and we are very happy to have had it work out so well and what better place to wrap it up than in Orgone's hometown at the historic Roxy. Some tickets are still available and can be found here.
The Roxy show is all ages, and will most likely be Groundation's only SoCal show for the rest of 2010. Already we have heard from friends from as far away as San Diego and Sa Luis Obispo who are coming down for the LA show and we hope to see you all there too.

Kaua'i Venue Change
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been regrettfully put in a position by local authorities where the venue for our upcoming Kaua'i show must be changed. But, the show must and will go on.
The Lava Lounge in Kapaa will be the replacment venue for Saturday night's show and all tickets already purchased for the Taro Patch show will still be honored. Be forewarned: the Lava Lounge is a small and intimate space, so get there early before the show sells out.

Boston Boat Show Added!
We have confirmed the long rumoured Boston boat show for August 23. Opening will be long-time Groundation collaboraters and Boston natives iLa Mawana.
Like the NYC boat show on the 24th, this is a very limited capacity engagement, so pre-sale tickets are highly recommended. More information can be had at our live page.

Groundation Featured on Benefit Album
We are proud to annouce that Groundation's song "Smile," off of the album "We Free Again," is featured on Surfing Medicine International's benefit album "Surfing Medicine: Volume 2." The album also features songs from Toubab Krewe, Digable Planets, Sublime, Pharcyde, John Butler Trio, Slightly Stoopied, John Brown's Body & Burning Spear.
The album is out now and can be found on Amazon. Proceeds from the album go to support the development of sustainable medicinal plant systems and the preservation of indigenous healing practices in Africa, Jamaica and Haiti.
